Dashboard
The dashboard shows a simple top-level view of some key data. The data and charts are mostly self-explanatory in two parts:
- Status Summary
- Counts & Trends

Status Summary
This provides the number of ratings for each rating status code see here
Click on any of the Status Summary cards to drill-down into the Ratings Received report. The drill-down will apply a filter to the report which will be visible at the top. Selecting the yellow Awaiting Customer Reply drills-down to show:

Notice the Current filter view describes the filter being applied to the report - in this case, the report is only showing those ratings with a status of 'Awaiting Customer Reply'. The filter view condition is shown in Red which indicates that the filter was set via a drill down action from another page. This is in contrast to the global filter settings which are set via the Filters selection and these are shown in black.
Drill-down filters operate in conjunction with global filters. For example, if the global status filter has been set to 'Unread Rating' and then a drill-down is performed from the Star Rating chart for 1 Star only, then you will see filters created by the drill-down alongside the global filter, differentiated by the red and black colours.

The drill-down filters are transient, which means that once you navigate away from the Ratings Received report then they are discarded and the existing global filters are used.
Counts & Trends
Select the period (number of days) to view using the drop-down menu in the Counts & Trends section.
The 5-Star counts charts show the actual count of ratings received for each star rating in the period selected. Select one of the bar charts to drill-down into the Ratings Received report. This shows a drill-down on the "2 Stars" bar count, displaying the last 90 days:

Again, notice the drill-down filter view showing the transient drill-down filter being applied to the report.
Moving Averages
The Star Rating Trend chart shows the moving average of the 5-Star ratings provided in the period selected. A moving average is a statistical technique used to smooth out short-term fluctuations and highlight longer-term trends or cycles in data.
Similarly, the three Response charts show moving averages rather than absolute values.
