Filter Configuration
Overview
Each user manages their own set of "global" filters, which allow them to show or hide specific values in both the Dashboards and the Received Ratings report. These global filters provide a persistent layer of customization, enhancing the user's ability to tailor their view according to their preferences.
Global filters work alongside transient filters that are created during a drill-down from the dashboard view. Initially, the Dashboards are filtered based on the global filters set by the user. During a drill-down, additional transient filters can be applied to refine the data further. This means the data in the Dashboards is first narrowed down by the global filters and then further refined by the drill-down filters, providing a multi-layered filtering approach for in-depth analysis.
Accessing Filters
Filters are accessed from the Filters button on Rating Received report and the Dashboard reports.

The Filters are designed for quick and easy use. Simply select the checkboxes next to the items you want to include in the data. Any item that is not checked will be excluded from the data. The only exception to this rule is when no items are checked at all, which indicates that all items are included by default.
This intuitive filtering system allows you to effortlessly customize your data view to suit your specific needs, ensuring you can focus on the information that matters most to you.
For the dates filter you can select:
- From date
- To date
- From and To dates (i.e. a date range)
- Rolling Period (e.g. - show just the last 10 days)
Make some selections and select Save:

When you save the filters you will be re-directed to the Dashboards or Rating Received report - whichever you came from. The active global Filters are displayed at the top of those reports:

Organizations & Templates
Organization and template filters will only be available if you have more than one organization or you have more than one template.
